Travelling to The Bahamas!

With 700 islands, and thousands of beaches with pink and white sand, The Bahamas is one of the most interesting and exciting places in the world. It is an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean that is situated northeast of Cuba and southeast of Florida. The island is known for its beautiful beaches, exotic resorts, friendly locals, spectacular coral reefs, and so much more.
Today I'm going to write about my experience here, in the incredible Bahamas. I went to this trip for some days accompanied by some friends who love travelling, just like me.
DAY 1: "The arrival"
The day of the arrival at the archipielago, we went on a few walks by the surroundings of our Hotel (the big and famous Atlantis Hotel) and we spent the rest of the morning at the Aquaventure Waterpark, which was the ideal place for having fun. There where lots of spiraling slides, pools and other fun activities, such as the "Leap of Faith" slide, which is the most famous slide in the world. (It was very frightening for me, but I tried it!)
In the afternoon we visited some Nassau typical Lighthouses. My favorite ones were the Dixon Hill and Inagua Lighthouse, although we had to climb the 101 steps to watch the panoramic view of Hope Town and Elbow Cay!!

DAY 2: "Exumas Tour"
Today we decided to spend the day at the Exumas Islands, to have an opportunity to swim with the wild and cute pigs of Big Major Cay. We had so much fun here, we saw the pigs swiming in the sea and happily playing on the sun.
This tour took us to more than 70 other cays, including Iguana Island and Compass Cay.
The sharks at Compass Cay are known as nurse sharks and they are harmless. Swimming with them is optional, but you should beware that they are 7 to 14-foot-long marine animals. It is a thrilling experience but you can take a selfie with a shark, as I did!

DAY 3: "Under the sea"
Today we decided to swim under the Bahamian waters, we went scuba diving and swam in Dean's blue hole, which is a massive hole found near Clarence Town in Long Island. It is 663 feet deep and is the second deepest hole in the world.
There, we saw turtles, friendly dolphins... even sharks! We made sure we had taken lots of photos of this incredible experience that we had while doing scuba diving.

DAY 4: "Our las day on paradise"
Today, as it was our las day, we decided to go on a horseback riding tour to say goodbye to this incredible and unforgettable travel.
We rode our horses by the warm sun, next to the white beaches of The Bahamas. This must be on your list of things to do on your vacation.
After a ride by the beach, we decided to get into the water with our horses. We took lots of photos so don't forget to take your camera with you!

Finally, before dark, we had to get to the airport so we had to say goodbye to this amazing experience. I was very sad about leaving, but I know I will remember this trip for the rest of my life!
